COVID-19 UPDATE: Private sessions are currently available subject to Covid-19 health advice in NSW. During this time I will be offering these sessions at my home by appointment at half price rate of $30/hr (or if you are experiencing financial pressures please reach out to discuss). Please note equipment is not supplied during this time and it will be essential to BYO yoga mat.
Private yoga and meditation sessions can help encourage and empower you in ways that might not be possible in a large class format. Whether you are interested in developing your asana practice, breath control, meditation or even just to have a cup of tea and discuss yoga philosophy - I can tailor each session to suit your needs.
In my sessions I will work closely with you to follow your curiosity towards yoga in a safe and positive environment, working at your own level and pace.
I offer 60 min or 90 min sessions at a charge of $30/hr (discounted during Covid), either on my outside yoga deck or indoor yoga space (images below). No experience is necessary and all mats and equipment and provided. Tehla Bower is a yoga teacher and writer based in Wollongong NSW. She has been practising yoga for 22 years and has obtained accreditation as a Level 2 Yoga Synergy teacher (see https://yogasynergy.com/teachers/tehla-bower/ ). Her teacher training was completed directly with internationally renown and respected yoga expert Simon Borg-Olivier, and she has also been fortunate to be exposed to the unique teachings of Siddharthan John Weddepohl on the importance of self-knowledge to the practice of yoga. Tehla runs a small yoga organisation in Wollongong called Kahvah Yoga named after her two little girls (see www.facebook.com/KahvahYoga ) and has recently written about yoga and spirituality for Australian Yoga Life magazine, elephant journal and sivana spirit. Tehla loves connecting with nature, reading, spending time with her family, going for bushwalks and meditating at the beach (or anywhere she can really!).
