Mum's Day Off Yoga Retreat ~CLOSED~
~CLOSED FOR BOOKINGS~
Are you a busy Mum who needs to reserve some serious 'mummy-time' for yourself?!
This one-day retreat in beautiful Kiama is designed especially for you!
Join Tehla for a day of yoga practice, meditation, calm breathing techniques, inspiring talks and walks, nourishing food* and a well deserved break from the kiddies!
We will meet at the beautifully equipped Emergence Spiritual Centre in the heart of Kiama village at 10.30am for a mid-morning yoga flow practice, followed by a trip to a local vegan cafe* and organic grocer, a short stroll to Kiama Blowhole ( a must-see attraction in Kiama said to have originally formed some 260 million years ago!) and guided outdoor meditation session (weather dependent). We will return to the yoga studio for a restorative practice with Tehla and tips on incorporating daily wellbeing practices into your busy life (yes, it is possible, even with young kids!). Finishing up at 4pm you will leave the retreat feeling re-energized, calm and centred:)
Complimentary goodie bag for all Mums who attend xx
Bookings are essential as spots are limited - all enquiries to tehla@tehla-jane.com or 0412 738 752.
*Price of lunch and organic grocer (as well as any other shopping along the way) is an additional cost
Tehla Bower is a mum of 2, yoga teacher and writer based in Wollongong NSW. She has been practising yoga for 20 years and has obtained accreditation as a Level 2 Yoga Synergy teacher. Her teacher training was completed directly with internationally renown and respected yoga expert Simon Borg-Olivier, and she has also been fortunate to be exposed to the unique teachings of Siddharthan John Weddepohl on the importance of self-knowledge to the practice of yoga. Tehla runs a small yoga organisation in Wollongong called Kahvah Yoga named after her two little girls and has recently written about yoga and spirituality for Australian Yoga Life magazine, elephant journal and sivana spirit. She has recently started offering yoga retreats to complement her classes and increase the depth of experience for her students. Tehla loves connecting with nature, reading, spending time with her family, going for bushwalks and meditating at the beach (or anywhere she can really!). In each of these pursuits she feels a strong connection with her ‘yoga life’ and feels that by offering retreats she can share a part of her own yoga journey that cannot be achieved in a 60 min yoga class format.
